The Dallas Cowboys Your NFC East Leader

COWBOYS WIN ON THANKSGIVING!

Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving and this crazed filled football game. Especially with the first play of the game a fumble by Terrance Williams on the kick return, returned for a touchdown. Once again the Cowboys put themselves in a hole. Luckily at the end of the first quarter Kyle Wilber got a sack and fumble recovery that would end up in a DeMarco Murray 2 yard touchdown.

The run game was finally found in the second half, as Murray and Lance Dunbar would make a committee in the backfield gashing the Raiders defense on the ground. Bad news is L. Dunbar had to leave the game towards the end, and he will be out for the rest of the season with an injury to the left joint in his knee. Will have surgery. A big disappointment because he and Murray ran great in this game. Some good news is coming though, sounds like “The Sheriff” Sean Lee will return for the next game against the Chicago Bears. Also Justin Durant is expected to be back as well, which will help this Dallas defense.

Cowboys Top Performers:

Tony Romo 225 Yds 1 TD 0 INT
DeMarco Murray 63 Yds 3 TD
Dez Bryant 7 Rec 61 Yds 1 TD

Raiders Top Performers:

Matt McGloin 255 Yds 0 TD 1 INT
Rashad Jennings 35 Yds 2 TD
Andre Holmes 7 Rec 136 Yds 0 TD

With this win the Dallas Cowboys remain the leader of the NFC East but the Eagles are right there as well but since Dallas is 4-0 in the conference they have the tie breaker. The Cowboys next game is on Monday night against the 6-6 Bears that just lost in overtime to the Vikings. With Jay Cutler’s status uncertain for the game, the Cowboys will be watching that news closely but their backup quarterback McCown has done fairly well for them. Also something interesting, former Cowboys DT Jay Ratliff released earlier in the season will be active for his first game as a Chicago Bear.

The big question for this team is can they finish in the month of December. Although their schedule does look promising they will finish the regular season with two divisional games against the Redskins then the Eagles. Which means as of right now the week 17 game versus the Eagles will determine who will go to the playoffs!

HUGE GAME!

Dallas Cowboys last 4 regular season games:

6-6 Chicago Bears
5-6-1 Green Bay Packers
3-9 Washington Redskins
7-5 Philadelphia Eagles
