#15 Philip Rivers
Year | Age | Team | G | Comp | Att | Comp% | Yards | TD | INT | Rush Att | Rush Yards | Avg | TD | Fumb | Fumb-Lost |
2011 | 29 | SD | 16 | 366 | 582 | 62.9% | 4624 | 27 | 20 | 26 | 36 | 1.4 | 1 | 9 | 5 |
2012 | 30 | SD | 16 | 338 | 527 | 64.1% | 3606 | 26 | 15 | 27 | 40 | 1.5 | 0 | 15 | 7 |
2013 | 31 | SD | 16 | 378 | 544 | 69.5% | 4478 | 32 | 11 | 28 | 72 | 2.6 | 0 | 3 | 2 |
Last offseason, Philip Rivers was an afterthought in fantasy drafts often going undrafted in standard twelve team leagues. However, Mike McCoy’s quick hitting, short passing system revitalized Rivers career. Rivers had over 4,400 yards passing with 32 touchdowns and a completion percentage nearing 70%! Phillip Rivers is currently being drafted around the 15th quarterback overall, providing tremendous value for a quarterback who is capable of producing consistent QB1 numbers. With explosive weapons like Keenan Allen Lardarius Green and a healthy Ryan Mathews, Rivers is capable of reproducing his terrific 2013 campaign. The only downside to Rivers is that his upside is a bit capped by the nature of McCoy’s short passing system. Rivers will always have a high completion percentage, but there will be games where his receivers fail to break tackles and his yardage totals will be pedestrian. Rivers is a great value pick for those choosing to wait on a quarterback.

#14 Tony Romo
Year | Age | Team | G | Comp | Att | Comp% | Yards | TD | INT | Rush Att | Rush Yards | Avg | TD | Fumb | Fumb-Lost |
2011 | 31 | Dal | 16 | 346 | 522 | 66.3% | 4184 | 31 | 10 | 22 | 46 | 2.1 | 1 | 6 | 3 |
2012 | 32 | Dal | 16 | 425 | 648 | 65.6% | 4903 | 28 | 19 | 30 | 49 | 1.6 | 1 | 6 | 3 |
2013 | 33 | Dal | 15 | 342 | 535 | 63.9% | 3828 | 31 | 10 | 20 | 38 | 1.9 | 0 | 4 | 1 |
Come on, all fantasy owners know that Romo is a great fantasy player over the years. He will put up some monster games and even though he lets the city of Dallas down regularly, he gives his owners what they need. He has one of the best receivers in the game in Dez Bryant and a new Offense Coordinator that makes good QBs better. A steady running game will help give Tony Romo the time and lanes he needs to get back into the top bracket of fantasy QBs. Coming off back surgery and with less weapons as he might be used to, will make cracking the top 10 a challenge for player.

#13 Jay Cutler
Year | Age | Team | G | Comp | Att | Comp% | Yards | TD | INT | Rush Att | Rush Yards | Avg | TD | Fumb | Fumb-Lost |
2011 | 28 | Chi | 10 | 182 | 314 | 58.0% | 2319 | 13 | 7 | 18 | 55 | 3.1 | 1 | 7 | 3 |
2012 | 29 | Chi | 15 | 255 | 434 | 58.8% | 3033 | 19 | 14 | 41 | 233 | 5.7 | 0 | 8 | 4 |
2013 | 30 | Chi | 11 | 224 | 355 | 63.1% | 2621 | 19 | 12 | 23 | 118 | 5.1 | 0 | 5 | 3 |
Jay Cutler has the potential to be a top fantasy QB, he just needs to stay healthy. Since becoming a Chicago Bear in 2009 Cutler has only once completed a full 16 game season. Cutler has one of the best set of weapons in the NFL right now and with his chemistry with Brandon Marshall obvious both at the Bears and during their time at Denver. Alshon Jeffery was a breakout star in 2013 and should continue to get better in 2014. To add to the wide receivers, the Bears offense also boasts one of the top running backs in Matt Forte who is equally adept at catching the ball out of the backfield as he is at taking handoffs, and Tight End Martellus Bennett is a solid pass catcher and viable red zone threat. If Cutler can stay healthy for all 16 games he has solid fantasy value with the weapons around him and ever improving offensive line allowing him the time to throw

#12 Russell Wilson
Year | Age | Team | G | Comp | Att | Comp% | Yards | TD | INT | Rush Att | Rush Yards | Avg | TD | Fumb | Fumb-Lost |
2012 | 23 | Sea | 16 | 252 | 393 | 64.1% | 3118 | 26 | 10 | 94 | 489 | 5.2 | 4 | 6 | 3 |
2013 | 24 | Sea | 16 | 257 | 407 | 63.1% | 3357 | 26 | 9 | 96 | 539 | 5.6 | 1 | 10 | 5 |
Although it might not feel like it, Russell Wilson has been a top 10 QB in fantasy football in his first two years of the NFL. Wilson rarely takes chances with the pigskin and minimizes opportunities to turn the ball over. His uncanny ability to move the ball downfield through air and land makes him an interesting prospect in the coming year. On the flipside, the Seahawks watched some valuable offensive lineman and a solid WR, Golden Tate, walk, which may lead to a decrease in numbers for 2014.

#11 Robert Griffin III
Year | Age | Team | G | Comp | Att | Comp% | Yards | TD | INT | Rush Att | Rush Yards | Avg | TD | Fumb | Fumb-Lost |
2012 | 22 | Was | 15 | 258 | 393 | 65.6% | 3200 | 20 | 5 | 120 | 815 | 6.8 | 7 | 12 | 2 |
2013 | 23 | Was | 13 | 274 | 456 | 60.1% | 3203 | 16 | 12 | 86 | 489 | 5.7 | 0 | 11 | 4 |
The Brace is off and so are the excuses for this player. A healthy RG3 gives the capital a huge sigh of relief. That isn’t the only good news for the Washington Redskins, they got a new Head Coach and he is one of the great offensive minded coaches in the NFL. They also brought in DeSean Jackson and Andre Roberts to give RG3 the best weapons out there and to leave him with no excuses. This offense has all the talent to be a top offense in the NFC but will it gel in time to do so. The biggest red flag on RG3 is injuries and decision making, you have to go in with the understanding he might win you some games and lose you some games. Is he worth the risk, well that’s up to you.
