NFL Draft Fall Rankings
24: Vic Beasley, Clemson, PSR
Strengths: Great speed and quickness off the edge, natural pass rush ability, strong hands and upper body.
Weaknesses: Lacks bulk and anchor strength to play defensive end, not a reliable run defender, instincts especially against the run are lacking.
23: La’el Collins, LSU, OT
Strengths: Excellent mass to play in the trenches, extremely powerful in both the upper and lower body, great drive blocker for an offensive tackle.
Weaknesses: Bend and balance are not ideal, limited athlete moving laterally or outside of a phone booth, may not be able to play on the outside as an offensive tackle.
22: Dorial Green-Beckham,* Oklahoma, WR
Strengths: Rare size for a wide receiver, excellent ability to get downfield and high point the deep ball, very good hands to make the contested catch.
Weaknesses: System at Missouri did not see him run a variety of routes, straight-linish runner, character is severely in question after multiple off-field incidents and dismissal from Missouri.
21: P.J. Williams,* Florida State, CB
Strengths: Physical in coverage and will not be out-muscled by most wide receivers, strong in run support for a corner, has tools to be highly effective in man coverage.
Weaknesses: Ball skills are questionable, is not the most instinctive or experienced cornerback, footwork needs to be tightened up.
20: Devin Funchess,* Michigan, TE
Strengths: Excellent speed and movement to get vertical, can out-jump defensive backs as an effective red-zone target, is difficult to bring down with the ball in his hands.
Weaknesses: Has little experience and ability as a blocker, can drop some catchable balls, needs to get off the line of scrimmage better and run better routes.
19: Noah Spence,* Ohio State, DE
Strengths: Explosive off the snap, easy movement skills to stand up off the edge or with his hand in the dirt, uses good leverage to play bigger than his size.
Weaknesses: Is undersized to play defensive end routinely, is still green and inexperienced, drug-related suspensions are a concern.
18: Jaelen Strong,* Arizona State, WR
Strengths: Has excellent hands and drops are rare, possesses a big and strong frame for a wide receiver, underrated speed as a downfield threat.
Weaknesses: Height limits his ability to make sharp cuts in his routes, can have some trouble separating from coverage, has only played one year of FBS-level football.
17: Denzel Perryman, Miami, LB
Strengths: Very reliable tackler who hits with a thump, very strong in the box defender, has excellent intangibles to make it and get better.
Weaknesses: Foot speed and range is just adequate, has some medical concerns with past injuries, is just under the preferred height for linebackers, though he has a very thick frame.
