The LWOS Baseball Department is pleased to bring you their live game blog, in conjunction with Cover It Live. The Blog will be going live tonight at 8:00 pm as Jake Shields and the American League Champion Kansas City Royals take on Madison Baumgartner and the San Francisco Giants. We’ll be here through every game, and every big play, bringing you the best in baseball coverage.
For our World Series preview you can read David Spracale’s excellent work here. The Giants won the National League Pennant on Travis Ishikawa’s bottom of 9th inning series winning walk-off home run in Game 5 of the NLCS over the St. Louis Cardinals. Meanwhile the Royals have gone 8-0 in the post-season including a four-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles in the ALCS. The Royals have home field advantage thanks to the American League’s 2014 All-Star Game win.
Come back at 8:00pm when the live blog will be active and join us for some baseball talk during the 2014 Fall Classic. The best thing… You the reader can participate as well. Just sign in with a facebook or twitter account when the Cover It Live blog opens later tonight.
Check back every game of the series as we plan to bring you all the action.
