Fantasy Football Starts and Sits for Week 8

Starts

Andy Dalton

Dalton has been one of the best quarterbacks this season and in week 8 he plays the Steelers. The game should be a shoot out and the Steelers are being very generous to quarterbacks this season.

Teddy Bridgewater

With the return of Peterson and the emergence of Stefon Diggs, Bridgewater is posting solid numbers. This week he plays the Bears who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

LaGarrette Blount

The new England back field can be one of the most difficult ones to predict. They seem to trust Blount and he has a solid match up this week against Miami. Note that it is the Thursday night game.

Chris Johnson

Johnson has been one of the best waiver wire pick ups this season. In week 8 Johnson is playing the Cleveland Browns who has been one of the worst run defenses this season.

Stefon Diggs

Diggs has emerged as the best wide receiver in Minnesota and with defenses trying to stop Adrian Peterson, Diggs production should continue. In week 8 he is going up against one of the worst defenses in Chicago Bears.

Keenan Allen

Allen has been a solid wide receiver this season and with Rivers throwing the ball forty plus times a game. Allen should have no problem putting up big numbers this week against the Baltimore Ravens who are giving up the second most points to wide receivers this season.

Tyler Eifert

After an injury plagued 2014 season, Eifert has emerged as one of the best and most consistent tight ends this season. This week he faces the Steelers in a game that should be a shoot out. Eifert will have the chance to post solid numbers.

Eric Ebron

Ebron is starting to emerge as one of Stafford favorite targets and with the Lions running game not living up to its pre-season hype, they will be throwing a lot which means more targets for the tight end. He is playing the Kansas City Chiefs this week and is worth the start. Note the game is in London at 9:30 am E.T.

Sits

Peyton Manning

This season, Manning has not been what many expected. He has more interceptions than touchdowns and has been an overall disappointment. This week he has the Packers defense that has been solid to this point.

Jay Cutler

Cutler is one of the most inconsistent quarterbacks in the league. He can go off one week and do nothing the next. And this week he has the Minnesota defense that has been tough on quarterbacks this season.

Darren McFadden

McFadden had a solid week 7 posting 162 total yards and a touchdown, but this week he faces Seattle’s defense. The Seahawks is giving up the second fewest fantasy points to running backs this season.

Latavius Murray

Murray has been a solid running back this season, but has a tough match in week 8 against the Jets who are giving up the fewest points to running backs this season.

Amari Cooper

Cooper has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL this season. This week he faces the Jets and will most likely be on “Revis Island” which means he could be in for a rough game.

Travis Benjamin

Benjamin has been one of the wavier wire gems this season and has been putting up solid numbers. In week 8, though, he is going up against Patrick Peterson and the Cardinals defense. With the inconsistent quarterbacksplay, he should be left on the bench.

Jason Witten

Witten has been one of the best tight ends over the past few seasons. The inconsistent quarterback play in Dallas, along with the fact that he in playing Seattle this week means he should be on your bench in week 8.

Kyle Rudolph

Rudolph has been up and down this season. In week 8 he is going up against the Chicago Bears who have been tough on tight ends. They are giving up the fifth fewest points to tight ends this season.
