Saracens is delighted to welcome Canada international, Alexandria Ellis, to the club.

The prop forward joins Saracens Women ahead of this weekend's round of Tyrrells Premier 15s fixtures. The Ottawa native made her debut for Canada in 2017, having previously played for Canada U20s.

"We have no doubt she will contribute on and off the field at Saracens."

Ellis played her rugby in Canada for Barrhaven Scottish and University of Ottawa Gee-Gees.

Saracens Women head coach Alex Austerberry said: "We are very pleased to have Alex at the club. A player who is learning her trade but is already very talented and has international exposure.

"We are excited about where her development will take her and we have no doubt she will contribute on and off the field at Saracens."

Ellis said: "I'm really excited to have joined Saracens Women. They are a really successful club and I'm looking forward to growing as a player, on and off the pitch

"The squad is full of great players and and I can't wait to run out in Saracens colours for the first time."
