August is the slowest NBA month, meaning any semblance of basketball, whether it be Drew League or BIG3 basketball, provides us entertainment. That is why Saturday’s NBA Africa Game was so crucial to feeding our NBA addiction. LWOPB Editor Matthew Cardenas and Austin were among the fans happy to enjoy the event.
Coast 2 Coast Podcast Episode #34: NBA Africa Game Recap
Matthew joined Austin for this mini episode of the Coast 2 Coast Podcast to recap Team World’s 108-97 win over Team Africa in the second NBA Africa Game. They broke down the meaning of this game for the NBA and basketball in Africa and who impressed each of them. Will Victor Oladipo and Emmanuel Mudiay‘s performances translate into the upcoming season for the Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets? Other standouts include C.J. McCollum‘s improved ball-handling and DeMarcus Cousins‘ improved frame. Overall, it was a pretty successful event for the NBA. Outside of basketball, the players and coaches were able to tour Africa and build houses for the people.
Austin Cracraft and Dante Guarneri discuss everything from the wide world of the NBA, whether it be the latest update from a Banana Boat or a legend being thrown out of the Garden.
