Current Form
The Mavericks were an absolute no-show in the first game against the Thunder. Everything they did right in the first round against the Clippers, the Mavericks failed to repeat against the Thunder. Luka Dončić looked injured on the court and played no defense whatsoever. However, in the last two games, the Mavericks were great in clutch situations and with such experienced players as Doncic and Irving, they took over and now lead the series.
The Thunder looked great in the first game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was their best scorer in all three. The only difference is that he got much needed help offensively from his teammates in the first game. At this moment, Shai looks like the only scoring option for them, as his teammates are struggling offensively. Being such an inexperienced and young team, the Thunder do not look good under pressure.

We believe that the Mavericks should be favorites in this matchup. According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 game. The main reason for that is that Doncic is still questionable for this game. However, we believe that even though he looked injured in the first three games, Luka will play and lead the Mavericks to victory. Expect Irving and Doncic to be clutch yet again and defend the home court.
