2024 NBA All-Summer League Teams Revealed

All-Summer League First Team

Selected with the 45th overall pick by Memphis in the 2023 NBA Draft, Jackson II was named to the All-Rookie Second Team last season. In his five Summer League performances (not counting the championship game), the 19-year-old averaged 20.8 points and 8.4 rebounds. However, he did notably have a 28-point nine-rebound performance in the championship.

The 24-year-old Miller only played eight games for the Clippers last season for a total of 28 minutes. The 48th selection in the 2023 NBA Draft, Miller showcased his talent with a more expanded role. In five Summer League games, he averaged 25.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.

Pippen Jr. started the last 11 games of the season for Memphis and scored at least 14 points in seven of them. Entering his third season, Pippen averaged 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.2 assists, and 3.0 steals in five Summer League contests (not including the championship game). Pippen did have a stellar 29-point 11-assist game in the championship though.

The 20-year-old Sheppard was taken third overall by the Rockets in the 2024 NBA Draft after one season of lights-out shooting at Kentucky. He wasn’t particularly accurate from deep in the Summer League but still productive. He averaged 20.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.8 steals, and 1.3 blocks.

Ware was picked 15th overall by the Heat in the 2024 NBA Draft. The seven-footer might be able to find a spot in the rotation from the jump for Miami. In five Summer League games (not counting the championship game), the rookie averaged 17.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks. However, did Ware contributed 21 points and 10 rebounds in Miami’s championship win.

All-Summer League Second Team

The 14th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Carrington just turned 19 years old on July 21. While he wasn’t necessarily accurate from the field (32.9%), he still made an impact in the Summer League. In five games, he finished with averages of 15.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists.

A defensive stopper in his two years at UConn, the Trail Blazers took the seven-foot-two Clingan seventh overall in the 2024 NBA Draft. While he averaged just nine points in four Summer League outings, he led all players in both rebounding (12.3) and blocks (4.3).

Jaquez Jr. is coming off a rookie season with the Heat where he finished fourth in Rookie of the Year voting and made the All-Rookie First Team. In the 2023 NBA Draft, the 23-year-old was selected 18th overall. While he appeared in just two Summer League games, he averaged 26.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals.

Walker often wasn’t in Indiana’s rotation last season after being selected eighth overall in the 2023 NBA Draft. Perhaps his Summer League performance can help springboard him to a larger role in 2024-25. In four games, the 20-year-old went on to average 18.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists.

The 51st overall selection in the 2023 NBA Draft, Wilson lands on the second team despite being named Summer League MVP. The 23-year-old appeared in five Summer League games and posted averages of 21.8 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting a scorching 55.0% from three-point territory.
