Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top offensive commits. Four-star offensive guard and Florida commit Yousef Mugharbil has signed his NLI to the University of Florida.

This is a great signing for Florida as Mugharbil is one of the top offensive guards in the 2021 class. Florida head coach Dan Mullen likes the skillset of Mugharbil. In addition, he projects to make a big impact on the Florida Gators offense in the future. Mugharbil is the only offensive guard that will be signing with Florida on Wednesday.

Who is Yousef Mugharbil and What Will He Bring to Florida?

Mugharbil is a four-star offensive guard out of Murphy High School in Murphy, North Carolina. He had offers from other top college football programs, so the coaches had to work for this one. During his recruitment, Mugharbil received 16 offers from some of the top college football programs in the country. Mugharbil had offers from schools like Arkansas, Florida, Georgia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina, North Carolina State, and Tennessee.

On ESPN, Mugharbil is the 121st ranked recruit. Further, ESPN ranks him as the fourth-ranked offensive guard in the country. On the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Mugharbil is the 266th ranked recruit. 247 Sports also has him ranked as the fifteenth ranked offensive guard in the country.

The Gators have added a top offensive guard in a position of need. At six-foot-five-inches and 305 pounds, Mugharbil has great size and also has the frame to play offensive tackle if needed. Florida offensive line coach John Hevesy will have his top offensive line commit enroll after the spring.
