Big 12 Week Six Winners

With five games in, teams in the Big 12 are finally taking shape. Which means, just maybe, we can turn this winner’s ship around. In week five, the money line went 3-4, while against the spread went 4-3 (did not see Colorado dominating UCF as they did). The totals also went 3-4 as well. But most importantly, we finally hit a lock selection! Let’s keep the momentum building with these Big 12 week six winners. All lines are courtesy of FanDuel.

Season Totals

Moneyline: 38-22

Against The Spread: 23-33

Totals: 29-26

Locks: 1-6

Big 12 Week Six Winners

Houston At TCU (-15.5)

TCU hasn’t been outstanding this year, but Houston also hasn’t scored a point in Big 12 play yet. The Big 12 week six winners start on a Friday night in Fort Worth. The Horned Frog offense has been rolling over the last few weeks. There is no reason to think it won’t continue in front of the home crowd. TCU could cover the total by itself if it breaks right, but Houston has to finally score…right?

Moneyline: TCU ATS: TCU Total 50.5: Over

West Virginia At Oklahoma State (-3.5)

It will be interesting to see how Mike Gundy rallies his team. With losses to two of the top contenders for the Big 12 conference, the Cowboys are all but eliminated from playoff and conference title contention. However, this is the prime spot in which Oklahoma State finally clicks. All expectations are off of them (which can be viewed as a failed season), so they should come out playing much looser. West Virginia hasn’t been able to stop anyone. But the Mountaineer offense has been doing noticeable things on offense. The Cowboys rebound at home with a boatload of points combined between the teams.

Moneyline: Oklahoma State ATS: Oklahoma State Total 64.5: Over

Baylor At #16 Iowa State (-12.5)

If Iowa State is going to be taken seriously, they have to take care of business this week. Baylor head coach Dave Aranda has to feel his seat continuously warming with each passing week. This appears like Matt Campbell is recouping some magic from yesteryear for the Cyclones. Ames, Iowa is where the stone-cold locks begin in the Big 12 week six winners. Quarterback Rocco Becht orchestrates a clean Cyclone offensive effort and Iowa State remains undefeated without breaking a sweat.

Moneyline: Iowa State ATS: Iowa State Total 44.5: Under

UCF At Florida (+2.5)

Billy Napier, is this the last time the college football world will see you as the head coach of the Gators? The Knights come to town after getting humbled by Colorado in Orlando. Fans often talk about being another team’s “Super Bowl.” But make no mistake, UCF would love nothing more to throw the final bit of dirt on the grave of the 2024 Gator season. However, with the Gators having a bye week before this one, they define the odds and successfully defend the Swamp (which might be the last time it will this season).

Moneyline: Florida ATS: Florida Total 61.5: Under

Kansas At Arizona State (-2.5)

Normally, a Lance Leipold-coached team can be counted on to protect the ball and not make critical mistakes. However, this year with a new offensive coordinator, the Jayhawks have not been able to get out of their way. There are times Jalon Daniels flashes those playmaking skills we had become accustomed to over the last two years. But he hasn’t been able to put it together for a full game. Meanwhile, Arizona State has been surging this season and is coming off a bye week. The Sun Devils roll at home as the Jayhawks hold the title for the most disappointing team in the Big 12 this season.

Moneyline: Arizona State ATS: Arizona State Total 50.5: Over

Texas Tech At Arizona (-6.5)

With the very last kickoff of the Big 12 week six winners (and the entire college football schedule), we should get late-night/early Sunday morning offensive fireworks. The Red Raiders defense has been terrible this season. So they aren’t likely to stop the Wildcats from scoring in bunches. But, if Texas Tech is going to stay in the game, they must convert third downs at a high rate. In a game that might not end until 3 am EST, count on the scoreboard operator being sore with all the scoring in this one. But for Red Raider fans, they will see Joey McGuire’s road woes continue.
