Texas A&M Official 2020 Football Schedule

Click here to view the Texas A&M Official 2020 Football Schedule. There have been some changes worthy of notice. This year should be fun...

On July 30th, the SEC announced they would move to a conference-only schedule for the 2020 football season. Each team was to add two additional games, resulting in a 10-game, all-SEC season. On August 7th, they released the names of the two new schools that each team would play. Texas A&M added the Florida Gators at Kyle Field and the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville. At that point, however, there were not any dates assigned to each game, only team name, and location

Finally, after a long wait filled with uncertainty and speculation, the SEC finally released the complete and official 2020 schedule for each team. Without further ado, here is the Texas A&M 2020 Football Schedule. (Times are T.B.D.)

Texas A&M 2020 Football Schedule

Week 1 9/26/2020: Vanderbilt Commodores

The last time the Aggies played the Commodores, they pitched a 25-0 shutout. With the loss of powerhouse running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn, Vandy will have to replace a lot of production if they want to seriously compete.

Week 2 10/03/2020 – @ Alabama Crimson Tide

Even though the Tide lost their star quarterback and two of his favorite targets, their Rolodex of 5-star playmakers seems never-ending. Whoever their quarterback is in 2020, the Crimson Tide will give every team a fit on both sides of the ball. The Aggies drew them early this year. Perhaps they will be able to take advantage of the team with less chemistry than in previous years.

Week 3 10/10/2020 – Florida Gators

Due to a weather delay, the Florida Gators were the first team the Aggies played after joining the SEC. The Gators were the first to see the emergence of Johnny Manziel, and there is much debate as to what that 2012 season would have turned out to be if the Aggies would have won that game. Now, Florida comes back to College Station for the first time since that painful loss eight years ago.

Week 4 10/17/2020 – @ Mississippi State Bulldogs

Last season, the Aggies beat both Mississippi schools since joining the conference. Mike Leach is the new head coach for the Bulldogs. His air-raid passing attack will be a great litmus test for the Aggie secondary.

Week 5 10/24/2020 – BYE

Week 6 10/31/2020 – Arkansas Razorbacks *ON KYLE FIELD*

The Aggies are undefeated against Arkansas since joining the SEC. As they say in Aggieland, “It’s tradition,” and they’ll be trying to continue this one in 2020. This year the Aggies will be playing the Razorbacks on Kyle Field rather than the typical venue in Arlington.

Week 7 11/7/2020 – @ South Carolina Gamecocks

The Aggies have never lost to South Carolina. In their six matchups, the Aggies have outscored the Gamecocks 191-115. The games have either been one-sided or nail-biters. No matter what happens, expect a lot of points to be scored in Columbia.

Week 8 11/14/2020 – @ Tennessee Volunteers

When the No. 9 ranked Vols rolled into College Station back in 2016, nobody realized that game would be an instant classic. The Aggies pulled off the upset in two overtimes, resulting in a game that will never be forgotten by those in attendance. 2020 brings the two teams back together again, this time in Knoxville. The Vols have some solid momentum building up, but will it be enough to take down the Aggies?

Week 9 11/21/2020 – Ole Miss Rebels

In a game that went back and forth, with the Rebels using two quarterbacks, the Aggies managed to escape Oxford with a win. Buddy Johnson had a scoop-six, and Isiah Spiller sealed the deal with a 22-yard touchdown run. Now, that Lane Kiffen is the new man at the helm for the Rebels.

Week 10 11/28/2020 – LSU Tigers

Last time the Tigers came to Kyle Field, they walked away after seven overtimes with a loss. In fact, that 2018 thriller was the last football game LSU lost. The Tigers were gutted after a historic 2019 season. Both key players and staff left for new homes, but Coach O is still in Baton Rouge, developing talent and trying to duplicate their success.

Week 11 12/05/2020 – @ Auburn Tigers

The Aggies lost to the Tigers by a single possession in 2019, on one of the hottest, most humid Saturdays in recent memory. The coaching staff took heavy criticism in the week following. There is no doubt the Aggies will have revenge heavily on their mind in 2020.
