Lallana Set to Leave Liverpool
Liverpool’s England international midfielder Adam Lallana could be set to leave Anfield. According to Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider, Liverpool could allow Lallana to leave at the end of the season. The 31-year-old is currently a fringe player for the Reds. Unless he can force his way back into the first-team, he will be allowed to leave.
Signed from Southampton in 2014, Lallana has made 160 appearances for Liverpool. He has, however, had his injury problems. These have seen him slip down the pecking order. Lallana’s contract ends next summer; however, Liverpool are likely to take up the option of extending his deal. This will allow them to receive a fee instead of losing the player for nothing.
Inter Target Nemanja Matic
Daniel Cutts of the Sun is reporting that Nemanja Matic could be set for Inter Milan. It is believed that talks have already begun. Inter are keen on signing the midfielder in January. Matic, however, could want to wait until his contract at United runs out next summer.
Serbian international Matic is willing to leave United and Inter manager Antonio Conte has made the midfielder his top target. Conte is believed to be desperate to add Matic to his squad. According to reports, United could have a busy January ahead.
Zakaria Interesting Top Clubs
Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and several other top clubs are reportedly interested in Denis Zakaria. The Borussia Monchengladbach and Switzerland midfielder has impressed many of late. Monchengladbach may have to get set for several bids should the report by Bild be true.
Defensive midfielder Zakaria is believed to be rated at £44 million. This price is unlikely to deter those interested. The Bundesliga club do not want to lose the player; however, they would consider reasonable offers.
Wolves Want Milan Midfielder
Wolves are interested in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie. According to Gregg Bakowski of the Guardian, Wolves are set to try and sign Kessie again. Wanderers were close to agreeing a deal in the summer only for the deal to fall through.
Manager Nuno Espírito Santo is keen to reunite Kessie with his summer signing Patrick Cutrone. The pair performed well together at Milan last season. They could be back together soon. Cutrone has struggled to settle since signing and it is hoped Kessie can get the best out of the striker. It is believed the Ivory Coast international would cost £26.9 million.
