Impressive Performances in the Premier League

Jack Grealish has been very impressive since Aston Villa’s promotion to the Premier League. This season, Grealish has made an impression on the English top-flight, scoring nine goals and assisting eight in his 31 appearances.

Not only are his stats impressive, but the manner in which he plays is as well.

The 24-year-old has shown that he is talented in many attributes, including long shots and passing, attracting extensive interest from the Red Devils. They want to sign him in the summer and have made him a top priority, among the likes of Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham.

It seemed that United were likely to have their man in the summer, but a recent incident has complicated matters slightly.

Grealish’s Car Crash

With much of the world on lockdown in an effort to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, Jack Grealish issued a warning to his many followers on Twitter to stay home, and a thank you to the many healthcare workers providing help non-stop.

Despite this, the Englishman went out for a party with one of his friends the following night and crashed his car while coming home, drunk.

He has since issued an apology, but this act will not go unnoticed, with Villa already having fined their player. This money will go towards a donation towards a local hospital charity.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Requirement for Jack Grealish

Although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not said anything publicly, he is sure to have opinions of his own, and this will no doubt impact his decision as to whether to sign Grealish in the summer.

He has stated many times that the attitude of his players both on and off the pitch is important. He says that new signings have to be the “right character”, and that “you have to have…a certain kind of attitude about you to make a United player”.

If Grealish is able to step up his attitude off the pitch, Solskjaer may still consider a move for the Englishman. However, this has certainly tainted the United manager’s view of him.
