Championship clubs Middlesbrough and Fulham have both confirmed one positive test of COVID-19 following the latest testing in the EFL.

The announcement of positive cases at both clubs follows the latest round of testing in the Championship.
1058 tests were undertaken by players and staff across Thursday 28 and Friday 29 May, with 10 individuals testing positive.
So far, alongside Middlesbrough and Fulham, Cardiff City and Preston North End have confirmed positive tests. Preston North End have confirmed that striker Jayden Stockley has contracted the virus. All individuals will now self-isolate.
In the last round of testing, third-placed Fulham confirmed two positive cases, while Blackburn Rovers’ Elliot Bennett also tested positive.
Colchester United Confirm Four Positive Tests in League Two
Testing was also completed in League Two, were seven tests were returned positive out of 135.
Colchester United have confirmed that four of their players have returned positive tests. A statement on their website read: “The four League Two clubs due to take part in the Play-Offs have completed a first phase of COVID-19 testing ahead of group training.
“Of the twenty eight Colchester United players and staff that completed tests at Florence Park earlier this week, four returned positive results for the virus.
“In line with the EFL protocols surrounding a return to training, they will now self isolate at home for the next seven days.”
Testing was undertaken in League Two at the four clubs who are set to compete in the play-offs. Exeter City returned two positive cases, while Northampton Town returned one.
Cheltenham Town did not return a positive case.
Testing has not yet been conducted in League One as it is unclear how the season will finish. However, testing will continue in the other two divisions in order for a safe end to the season.
