On-loan West Bromwich Albion winger Grady Diangana is a man in demand, and Rangers are the latest team to register an interest in signing him this summer, according to the Scottish Herald.
The 22-year old progressed through the youth ranks at West Ham United, before bursting onto the scene this year in the Championship for West Brom.
Both Glasgow Live and Daily Mail are reporting that Rangers are one of several clubs interested.

Impressing on Loan at West Brom
Diangana is currently on loan at the Baggies and they’ll be keen to sign him based on his performances for the club so far this season. In 28 matches for the West Midlands club so far this campaign, he has managed to bag himself seven goals and five assists.
His goal contributions have helped the club to launch a promotion bid, with West Brom currently sat in second place, with the prospect of automatic promotion (or at the very least, a play-off spot) very much on the horizon.
He has been one of the club’s most important players this season and it’s this form that is catching the eye of two of Scotland’s biggest clubs.
Interest from Glasgow
Celtic and Rangers have reportedly both enquired about the availability of the winger and hope to try and bring him over to the SPL ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
Rangers have been a long-term admirer of Diangana, having tried to sign him last summer before he secured his move to the Baggies. Now, they will look to try their best to lure the England Under-21 man to Glasgow.
Could be Kept in England
However, both West Ham and West Brom could be keen on keeping him. The Hammers haven’t let the player feature much for them yet – he has just six starts for the Premier League side under his belt so far in his career. However, with Diangana proving to be one of the most exciting players in the Championship, they could give him more of a chance next season.
If West Ham were to be relegated, they could keep him knowing full well that he is capable of performing regularly at that level.
The Lure of Premier League Football
Furthermore, West Brom will be eager to turn his short-term deal into a long-term one. He has been a key player at the Hawthorns and, if they do manage to secure promotion into the Premier League, they will want to try and keep hold of many of the players who helped them get there. The player too would no doubt be happy to stay at a club where he would be offered regular first-team action in the Premier League.
The player though is clearly in high demand and has no shortage of suitors ahead of the opening of the rescheduled transfer window from July 27 – October 5.
