Despite the third round not being played yet, the draw for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup has been made this evening.
Due to the proximity of so many rounds in this year’s edition of the competition, draws are being done early to allow clubs an easier time in sorting out the logistics of their schedules.
Carabao Cup Round Four Draw
Round Two Highlights
With the rounds two and three draws being made at the same time, some teams were given an extra incentive knowing they were potentially guaranteed a glamour tie in the next round.
That was certainly the case for League Two side Leyton Orient, who knew victory against Plymouth Argyle would secure a local derby against Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.

They were 2-0 down to the Pilgrims at home, but a magnificent turnaround in the second half through goals from Louis Dennis, Jobi McAnuff and Danny Johnson.
It was a similar evening for Luton Town whose 1-0 win away at Reading set up a home tie against Manchester United.
It will be the first time the two sides have met competitively since a Division One match in April 1992.
