Donny van de Beek’s agent has spoken out about the Dutchman’s treatment at Manchester United since his arrival from Ajax at the start of the month.
The 23-year-old signed a five-year deal at Old Trafford following a £39 million move to the Premier League, but his game time has been limited.

Lack of Game Time an Issue
The big-money signing has only played 101 minutes from three games so far since his arrival from Ajax. The 23-year-old scored on his debut against Crystal Palace, but managed just 23 minutes as a substitute in the defeat.
The Dutchman then played 78 minutes of the Red Devils’ Carabao Cup win over Luton Town, before coming on late in the game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
As a result, his agent Sjaak Swart has criticised Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, claiming his side “should have lost 7-1” against the Seagulls.
What Was Said
Speaking to Dutch outlet VoetbalPrimeur, former Ajax player Swart said: “A substitute; I don’t like it at all. I couldn’t do it, coming on with four minutes left. You’d have to leave me on the bench.
“But, I have to say, he still did three good things. And the penalty, where the winning goal came from, came from him. He did well in those couple of minutes.
“But normally they should have lost 7-1. Brighton hit the post and the bar five times. They (Brighton) have a nice team, but that shouldn’t happen to Manchester United.”
Despite his lack of game time, the Netherlands international has scored and helped to win the penalty against Brighton that ultimately won the game for Manchester United.
The 23-year-old could play a part in tonight’s Carabao Cup clash against the Seagulls. As a result, the Dutchman will be hoping to put a string of successful appearances together.
