Manchester City are yet to offer new deals to Sergio Aguero or Fernandinho, according to The Athletic’s Sam Lee.

Aguero and Fernandinho Futures Remain Uncertain
According to Lee, the Manchester City duo of Aguero and Fernandinho are yet to be offered new deals by the club. The Manchester City correspondent also reports that Fernandinho is weighing up several options, including a City stay and a move away.
They are two of the four players at the club whose contract expires in the summer. Aguero, Fernandinho, Scott Carson and Eric Garcia are all out of contract at the end of the season, with the latter already agreeing to a move to Barcelona.
Fernandinho at Manchester City
Fernandinho joined Manchester City back in 2013 from Shaktar Donetsk for a fee around £36 million. The Brazilian has since gone on to make 331 appearances for the club, including 17 this season.
The 35-year-old holding midfielder has also covered at centre back during his time at City, and has also scored 24 times and provided 27 assists during his time at the Etihad Stadium.
Aguero at Manchester City
Sergio Aguero arrived at City from Atletico Madrid the season before Fernandinho for a fee in the same region as the Brazilian.
The striker, who has managed just nine appearances this season due to injuries, has scored an incredible 256 goals from 379 appearance for the Citizens. The 32-year-old has also provided 73 assists.
Aguero has also became the clubs all-time leading goalscorer in 2017, overtaking Eric Brook, who had held the record since 1940.
What the Duo Have Achieved at Manchester City
Sergio Aguero was a key part of the City side that secured their first-ever Premier League title in 2012, famously scoring a last-minute winner against Queens Park Rangers to clinch the title.
Since then, the duo have racked up an incredible trophy haul. Three more Premier League titles had been secured, along with one FA Cup triumph.
Five League Cups, including the last three in succession, and three Community Shields have all been won by the South Americans.
