Braaf is Yet to Make a Senior Appearance for City
The talented teenager is very highly thought of in the Manchester City academy. However, he is yet to make his senior debut but has been a regular for the U23s.
Braaf has demonstrated his qualities for the U23s. He can score goals, create chances and isn’t afraid to take players on. The winger is someone Pep Guardiola holds in high regard but his long term future is uncertain. City have struggled to nail Braaf down to a longer-term deal.
Hoping to Help Udinese
For the time being, his immediate future is in Italy playing for Udinese. The Serie A side are battling the tides of relegation with Luca Gotti’s side amongst the struggling pack. Braaf will hope he is the man to bring extra creativity and goals to a side which struggle to score consistently.
Only Parma have scored fewer goals than Udinese’s 21. It’s an issue that needs addressing with the club in the relegation battle. They have improved in recent weeks to move six points clear but they struggle to find the net on too many occasions.
Braaf’s arrival brings an extra bit of pace, creativity and a spark to the team. It’s a fantastic opportunity for him to showcase his skills and Pep Guardiola will be watching his progress with interest.
The Dutchman could make his Udinese debut against Hellas Verona this weekend. A good opportunity for Udinese to extend their unbeaten run to four matches.
