The chaos of January seems a distant memory now and the last seven days have been relatively quiet from a Luton Town perspective, with a big three points at Birmingham City dominating this round-up.

‘Big Mick’ Turned 62 on Friday
Mick Harford celebrated his 62nd birthday on Friday, giving Luton fans a chance to reflect on some brilliant memories that the former forward created over the years.
But of course, it is not just the playing days that ensures Mick Harford’s name goes down in Luton history. It is also his brief spell in charge during the 2018/19 League One campaign that fans will never forget. He steered the Hatters to the Championship during that campaign, taking over from Nathan Jones in January 2019, before Graeme Jones was appointed ahead of Luton’s first season back in England’s second tier.
Harford is regarded as one of the toughest players ever to grace the beautiful game, with the former forward racking up 168 appearances for the Bedfordshire side in the top division of English football. As well as a successful domestic career, Harford received two England call-ups in 1988, but he was unable to get his name on the score sheet on both occasions.
Luton Announce 25-Man Squad for the Remainder of the Season
Following the January transfer window, all clubs had to confirm their 25-man squads for the rest of the 2020/21 campaign. Added to the squad, were Kai Naismith, Tom Ince and Elijah Adebayo, with the trio of January signings taking number’s 24, 39 and 29 respectively.
A player who was not named in Jones’ squad was left-back Brendan Galloway. The out of favour defender has dropped even further down the pecking order with the arrival of Naismith, and he was unfortunate to miss out on a January move to Shrewsbury Town after failing a medical.
Big Three Points for Luton Town at St. Andrew’s
Going into Saturday’s game against a struggling Birmingham City side, Luton sat six points off the relegation zone, with the threat of relegation starting to become an alarming possibility.
However, Dan Potts headed the only goal of the game to give the Town a scrappy yet massive 1-0 victory on the road.
Luton now sit nine points off the relegation zone, and equally, find themselves nine points from the play-offs. In a season where avoiding relegation seemed the ultimate objective, mid-table mediocrity will be some achievement, should they maintain it.
The Hatters now have 11 games in 36 days, therefore the next month or so should be rather telling the club.
