Thomas Tuchel’s arrival has been met with clear optimism, and according to James Robson of the Evening Standard, Ben Chilwell and Christian Pulisic are in agreement that this season could conclude with a Chelsea double. A league title is seemingly out of reach, but the Blues could still secure silverware in both the FA Cup and the Champions League.

Thomas Tuchel Has Revitalised Chelsea’s Season
Since the German’s appointment, the Blues have embarked on a 14-game unbeaten run, spanning across the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League. His initial impact has certainly sparked belief amongst Chelsea fans that this campaign is not just a transition.
For Chelsea to get their hands on silverware this season would be a fantastic achievement considering the calibre of opposition left in both tournaments. The Blues face high-flying Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final, with tests not coming much tougher than that this year.
In the Champions League, a whole host of Europe’s elite remain in the competition. Once again, City are involved and find themselves favourites to lift the trophy, with PSG, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Real Madrid also in contention.
Ben Chilwell and Christian Pulisic Confident of Chelsea Challenging for Double Glory
Ben Chilwell addressed the possibility of achieving glory in both competitions with complete confidence: “That’s 100 per cent possible.
“We’re in both competitions, we’re playing very well at the moment and we’re confident. “It’s not something we’re talking about. At the moment we’re taking it week by week, and the manager has made it clear that is what we need to do.”
In the same assured manner, Christian Pulisic added: “We definitely have a confident bunch of guys.
“When you go on a streak like this you feel really good. We feel like we can beat anyone so it’s a good feeling right now.”
