After missing out on the La Liga title this season, Zinedine Zidane has decided to leave Real Madrid with immediate effect. The news comes as no surprise with the Frenchman’s departure rumoured all throughout the season. It leaves Madrid manger-less and in the midst of a potential legal battle against UEFA following their European Super League antics.
That leaves both Antonio Conte and Zidane available this summer for clubs to take on board. The likes of Tottenham Hotspur and potentially Juventus will be watching eagle eyed. The three time Champions League winner has the portfolio to walk into every club in the world.
Unfortunately for Spurs, they are not able to match his credentials; they don’t have enough history to attract a manager of such worth as it stands- making this summer an interesting one.
