Norwich City are reportedly closing in on two new signings. Connor Southwell of The Pink Un reports that the Canaries are in advanced talks with PAOK for Christos Tzolis, while Roger Gonzalez of CBS Sports says that they are also in advanced talks with Werder Bremen’s young USA striker Josh Sargent.

Talks for Greek International Progressing
As Norwich prepare for their return to the Premier League following promotion from the Championship at the end of the 2020/21 season, one area that they are looking to reinforce is the attack.
PAOK winger Christos Tzolis is one player the club have been looking at and now Southwell reports that a £12 million deal is on the table with talks continuing to progress well between all parties.
Tzolis is highly-rated in his homeland Greece and at just 19 years of age, he has scored 16 goals and made ten assists in 46 matches in all competitions for PAOK.
Norwich manager Daniel Farke likes young talent for his squad and sees Tzolis as being a perfect fit for his Norwich side as he hopes to keep the club in the Premier League this time around.
Norwich had been considering a £10 million fee for the player but as he still has three years left on his current contract, PAOK are not willing to negotiate a lower fee than at least £12 million.
For Farke and Norwich, Tzolis would add flexibility to their formations and shape as he is comfortable on the left or the right-wing as well as being able to play in the number 9 role.
Norwich want to get a deal done before the new Premier League season kicks off in mid-August.
Sargent Move Close
Werder Bremen suffered relegation from the Bundesliga last season, which could be one of the reasons why Sargent is on his way out of the club.
Bremen had been looking for a fee of around €10 million for the USA international, who was his club’s top scorer last season with seven goals.
Norwich have already seen a bid for Sargent turned down this summer and his arrival would give Daniel Farke plenty of options behind Teemu Pukki for the starting striker role.
