Multiple Premier League Clubs Interested in Morgan Gibbs-White

The 22-year-old spent the 2021/22 season on loan in the Championship with Sheffield United, making 35 appearances and contributing with 11 goals and nine assists. The Wolves academy product helped the South-Yorkshire club achieve a fifth-place finish, narrowly missing out on promotion to the Premier League thanks to a penalty shootout loss to eventual playoff winners, Nottingham Forest.
It seems that Forest saw enough of Gibbs-White in the Championship to spark interest in the midfielder as they prepare for their first Premier League season since 1999. Crystal Palace and Southampton are also reportedly interested in the player as they look to bolster their respective squads before the start of the 2022/23 season.

Wolves have reportedly placed a price tag of around £25 million on the former England U17 World Cup winner. Gibbs-White has managed 46 Premier League appearances for Wolves since they were promoted from the Championship in 2017/18. However, 36 of those appearances have come from the bench and the midfielder has struggled to cement his place in the side. It appears that now the midlands club are looking to cash in on the midfielder following a strong showing in the Championship.
Palace may be on the lookout for more bodies in midfield as Chelsea loanee Connor Gallagher is returning to his parent club and looks to be in manager Thomas Tuchel’s first-team plans. Likewise, Southampton will be looking for some reinforcements after they finished 15th in the Premier League and failed to record a win in their final six games of the season.
With interest in Gibbs-White thought to be high, it may be only a matter of time before a club agrees to meet the lofty valuation placed on him by Wolves.
