Lewandowski Gets His Desire for Move to la Liga
The 34-year-old forward made his intentions of wanting to leave Bayern Munich clear at the end of last season, insisting that he is craving a new journey in his career. While the Bundesliga champions were unwilling to sell him initially, they softened their stance after the acquisition of Sadio Mane from Liverpool and finalized a pretty good deal with the La Liga side.
Barcelona will pay around £38.3 million (€45 million) for the Polish striker with a possible £4.25 million (€5 million) more in performance-related bonuses. The striker will also pocket decent pay from the deal, earning around £7.66 million-a-year (€9 million) wages for the next three years, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Bayern have fast-tracked the departure of Lewandowski because they want to use the fee received for him to fund their own pursuit of signing Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt before the Bundesliga season starts.
Lewandowski’s Career So Far
The Polish centre-forward enjoyed a prolific spell with Bayern Munich, using his period with them to elevate himself to among the best strikers in world football. Lewandowski made 375 appearances for the Bavarians, scoring 344 goals and providing 72 assists in all competitions.
He won eight Bundesliga titles, three DFB Pokal titles, and a Champions League crown with them. He also wracked up a lot of individual awards and achievements, including breaking the record for scoring the most goals in a single Bundesliga season by scoring 41 goals in the 2020/21 campaign.
