Manchester United and Chelsea Among Four Teams Keen on Benjamin Pavard
Pavard on the Shortlist of Major European Sides
The French international has two more years remaining on his deal with the Bundesliga giants but is attracting attention from some of Europe’s elite teams. Not only do the Red Devils and London giants have him on their defensive shortlist, but Pavard is also seeking interest from Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
The defender is currently evaluating his future at Bayern and thinking about a transfer. He has struggled with personal problems in recent years, mostly due to the Covid-19 pandemic keeping him away from his family, something which affected his mentality and performance as well.

Pavard ideally wants to join a team where he can get consistent appearances as a centre-back. He is not happy with how Bayern have constantly played him as a right-back in recent seasons, the position he normally plays for France and did so in their FIFA World Cup success in 2018.
🚨 Juventus, Atlético Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United are all interested in signing Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich but have yet to make a formal offer.
The Frenchman wants an assured spot at centre-back in the long-term.

Pavard’s Career So Far
The ex-Lille defender has enjoyed a prolific career on the domestic and international scene throughout his career. The 26-year-old was part of France’s World Cup-winning team four years ago and also won the UEFA Nations League title with them last year.
Since joining Bayern in 2019, Pavard has enjoyed a lot of success with the German side as well. He’s won three Bundesliga titles as well as winning the UEFA Champions League and DFB Pokal trophies as well.

But, due to suffering multiple injuries in recent seasons, Pavard was unable to assert himself as a regular for Nagelsmann’s side. Now with the Bavarians also roping in Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus, the 26-year-old’s chances of playing as a centre-back for them are further limited.
While Bayern wants him to stay and are even ready to sit down for new contract talks, the French international is likely to make up his mind about his future soon. Many suitors are waiting for him, but the £27 million-rated defender is expected to assess his options properly before making a decision.
