Birmingham City attacking midfielder Kyle Hurst has joined Doncaster Rovers on a permanent deal.
Hurst, 20, has signed a two-year deal and becomes Rovers’ seventh addition of the summer.

Kyle Hurst Gives Doncaster Rovers Attack More Options
Upon signing for the League Two side, Hurst told doncasterroversfc.co.uk: “It’s a proud moment to sign and it’s a big moment in my career. It’s something I’ve wanted to happen since I first came here.
“I can’t wait to get started, it can be difficult when you’re on trial but over the past few days I’ve had some really good conversations with the manager.
“I came here wanting to impress and there was a lot of pressure on me but I wanted to grab hold of the opportunity with both hands.”
Hurst is yet to make a competitive appearance in senior football but has impressed as a trialist with Doncaster in recent weeks.
He scored four goals in 17 Premier League 2 games for Birmingham City’s U23s last season.
Doncaster Rovers manager Gary McSheffrey told the club website: “We’ve had our eye on Kyle since the back end of last season having watched him a few times.
“When the opportunity came up for him to have a trial with us it was one we took up and he’s come in with a lot of desire.
“We feel he could be a real find for us and one that may go under the radar, but he’s certainly got a lot of potential.”

Doncaster appear to have made some shrewd additions following their relegation from League One, including former Fleetwood Town midfielder Harrison Biggins and attacking midfielder Luke Molyneux from Hartlepool United.
Hurst is the second player to swap Birmingham for Doncaster this summer after Josh Andrews made the switch on loan.
The 20-year-old enhances Doncaster’s ever-strengthening attacking options as they seek to regain their League One status via promotion this season.
Pre-Season Going Well
Gary McSheffrey’s first pre-season as a manager has been going well. Rovers started the summer recording wins over Armthorpe Welfare, Nuneaton Borough and Spennymoor Town before holding their own against Championship opposition, beating Huddersfield Town 1-0 and drawing 2-2 with Rotherham United.
They will face FC United of Manchester in their final friendly before kickstarting the season away at Bradford City on July 30.
