Scamacca to Undergo Medicals and Sign Contract in London
The 23-year-old forward has also agreed personal terms with the Hammers and will now work to complete the deal soon. Scamacca will be travelling to London on Monday to undergo his medical examinations before he can officially join the Hammers.
He will then sign his contract with West Ham on Tuesday and the deal should be made official soon. David Moyes has been craving a new centre-forward to provide competition to Michail Antonio, who isn’t getting any younger and is his only prominent striker option right now.
Scamacca was one of the best strikers in Serie A last season, scoring 16 goals in 36 appearances and is touted as one of the best young forwards in Europe.

West Ham have agreed to pay a fee of around £30.6 million plus £5.1 million in potential add-ons. A 10% sell-on clause has also been included in the deal that will guarantee Sassuolo some money if the London club end up selling the 23-year-old in the next few years.
West Ham plan to complete the signing of Gianluca Scamacca in the next 24 hours, after agreeing a £30.5m fee with Sassuolo over the weekend.
The 23-year-old is due for a medical ahead of signing his contract.

West Ham’s Summer Transfer Business So Far
The Hammers have made three signings so far after barely missing out on UEFA Europa League qualification last season. Moyes’ side have spent almost £50 million in transfer fees so far this summer, something which will be further increased with the arrival of Scamacca.
West Ham’s most expensive signing of this window so far is that of centre-back Nayef Aguerd from Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais for around £31.5 million. They have also signed young midfielder Flynn Downes from Championship side Swansea City to strengthen their midfield core.

Moyes’ side have also signed goalkeeper Alphonso Areola on a permanent basis from Paris Saint-Germain after being impressed with his performances while on loan last season. Scamacca will add to the Hammers’ summer business, but he is not expected to be their final acquisition of the summer.
