An Exciting Possible Addition
Depay presents the possibility of an exciting addition to a Juventus side that needs new life. Paulo Dybala, once seen as the club’s present and future, has now departed. Angel Di Maria has now joined the team, but he’s showing signs of being past his prime.

The Dutch winger was solid at Barcelona last season. In 28 La Liga appearances, he managed to score 12 goals and provide two assists. He didn’t quite show the talent that was on display for Lyon in Ligue 1, however. In 2020/21, Depay scored 20 goals and provided 12 assists in 37 matches for Les Gones. That’s the kind of production clubs are looking for from the flashy forward.
Depay is only 28 years old. He’s in the prime of his career and would be an excellent addition for I Bianconeri.

Right now, the attack is headlined by Dusan Vlahovic. The young striker holds the potential to be the best goalscorer in all of Italy. Behind him is Moise Kean, who is also an exciting player. Di Maria is available on the wing, as is Federico Chiesa. The Italian, however, will be returning from a major injury. It remains to be seen how he will perform this coming season. Juventus are coming off back-to-back disappointing seasons for their standards, so an addition like Depay can help greatly.
