Various teams have different approaches to the transfer market when they gain promotion to the Premier League. Bournemouth are yet to spend all that much money whilst Nottingham Forest aren’t hanging back in the slightest.
Steve Cooper’s side already have a number of new faces and they are keen to add more. As per Liam Keen, Forest have had another bid rejected for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
Nottingham Forest Aren’t Giving Up on Morgan Gibbs-White

Wolves Midfielder is Not for Sale
Gibbs-White had a true breakout season in 2021/22. The Englishman starred for Sheffield United as they made it into the Championship play-offs. From Billy Sharp to Rhian Brewster, Paul Heckingbottom was plagued with injuries, yet Gibbs-White’s brilliance got them over the line. It wasn’t to be for the Blades but his stock has certainly risen as a result.
Nottingham Forest are the team most keen to secure Gibbs-White’s services ahead of the new season. Mail Online reported last month that Southampton and Crystal Palace were interested in acquiring the 22-year-old. A move to London could have beckoned with Conor Gallagher having returned to parent club Chelsea.
Despite all this interest, the message out of Molineux remains that Gibbs-White is not for sale. Wolves are struggling for options in the final third and so everything points towards him having a chance to prove himself under Bruno Lage. It remains to be seen whether there is an appropriate price that could lead to Wolves sanctioning his sale.

Nottingham Forest Have Been Very Busy
Steve Cooper has made a number of signings, spending a fair amount of money as the historic club attempt to establish themselves back in the big time. Gibbs-White and Brennan Johnson on the same field is an exciting idea, especially when you add names like Taiwo Awoniyi and Jesse Lingard into the mix.

A competitive squad is necessary if a team wants to secure Premier League survival. At the same time, there would surely be a clash between Gibbs-White and Lingard, who has signed on a one-year deal. Both are good enough to start but there isn’t space for both of them.
The Wolves midfielder will be playing Premier League football, either way, this campaign. Both Wolves and Nottingham Forest offer intriguing propositions for the England U21 international. Gibbs-White will have crossed paths with Cooper at the U17 level with the national team.
