Wesley Fofana is becoming “increasingly frustrated” by Leicester City’s attempts to keep him at the club, reports Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports.
The French defender feels the Foxes are pricing him out of a “dream move” to Chelsea by demanding more than £80 million for him.
Leicester want to make more than they did on the deal that saw Harry Maguire join Manchester United for £80 million in 2019, but Fofana is unhappy with how his club are handling the deal.

Huge Offer Needed
It’s said that Fofana thought Leicester would listen to any substantial offer made for him, but so far the Foxes have rejected two bids from Chelsea, both thought to be in the region of £60 million.
If Leicester are going to hold out for more than they previously sold Maguire for, then Chelsea will have to submit a huge offer in order to prise the 21-year-old away from the King Power Stadium.
The club believe that due to Fofana’s potential as well as his current performances, they are within their rights to demand more than the Maguire fee.
But the defender himself is not happy with this stance, citing the difference in their age and international stature – Maguire was 26 and a regular for England when he was sold to Manchester United three years ago.
Chelsea are preparing new proposal for Wesley Fofana. Negotiations will continue with Leicester, they insist he’s not for sale but Chelsea will now push again after bid for more than £70m turned down last week. 🚨🔵 #CFC

Fofana is keen to play Champions League football in the run-up to the World Cup in December to improve his chances of making the France squad.
Despite being unsettled, the youngster will remain professional – after all, he still has five years left on his contract – but he did appear to bid farewell to the Leicester fans after their 4-2 defeat at Arsenal on Saturday.
Rodgers Wants ‘Another Year’
After that match, Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers acknowledged the speculation surrounding Fofana but stated that he felt the defender was better off staying at the club.
He said: “Naturally, if there is interest from another club, that is looked at by the club.
“He’s a top young defender and there are not too many around his age. Another year here for him at least would be really important for his development, but he is quite calm and relaxed in the situation.
“He is aware of the interest. He understands where we are as a club and where we see him.”
