According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are reportedly looking to sign a new winger before Deadline Day. Both Wolverhampton Wanderers‘ Pedro Neto and Villarreal’s Yeremy Pino have been linked, however, Romano highlights Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk as a player that the Gunners are keen on.
The North London club have yet to make a formal offer for the player, however, with the transfer window closing shut on September 1, there is little time to waste.

Stiff Competition
Arsenal are also not the only club interested in the 21-year-old as Brentford look to be a firm challenger for the player’s signature. A deal has yet to be agreed with either club, however, with the clock ticking on the transfer window, it could only be a matter of time before one side makes a move.
The Ukraine International enjoyed his best season of football yet during the shortened 2021/22 season where he contributed with two goals and six assists in 11 appearances. Playing predominantly on the left wing, Mudryck would provide a different option for Mikel Arteta’s side alongside the likes of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaardad and Gabriel Jesus.
Last Minute Shopping
Mudryck would join fellow compatriot Oleksandr Zinchenko in arriving at the Emirates as the Gunners continue to improve on a squad that narrowly missed out on Champions League football last season.
The Ukrainian would be Arteta’s fifth addition to the first team and would likely be brought in to compete with Gabriel Martinelli for that left winger spot. However, the latter has started the season in fine form, scoring two goals in four appearances to kick off the campaign. Therefore, Mudryk may have to wait his turn if he does join up with Arteta’s squad in North London.
With time running out on what has been a busy transfer window for the Gunners, they will need to act fast if they are to complete any more signings before the transfer window closes shut at 23:00 on September 1.
Brentford are attempting a late move for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.#BrentfordFC have indicated a willingness to pay a fee in the region of €30m (£25.7m) for the 21-year-old.
