Interest From Several Premier League Clubs
According to Simon Stone, the England U21 international has gathered plenty of interest from Premier League clubs but Everton are now leading the race.
The young midfielder has been told by Erik ten Hag he is free to depart Old Trafford on a permanent transfer. Garner, who is under contract until 2024, does not appear to be in the United plans for the upcoming season.
Three clubs have already expressed an interest in the midfielder and Garner could leave before the end of the transfer window. The young midfielder is desperate for guaranteed first-team football, which he won’t get at United, so it looks likely the 21-year-old will be playing for a new club from next month.

Leicester City, Everton and Southampton are reported to have made approaches to United for Garner. However, Romano has added United have rejected the first offer from Southampton.
If Southampton want the midfielder they will need to up their original offer, particularly with Everton stepping up their pursuit of the youngster.
Everton Leading the Race
Having seen Dele Alli depart for Turkey, Toffees’ boss Frank Lampard is in need of midfield recruitment and Garner would be a solid fit.
As Romano states, Everton are now “winning the race” to sign the promising youngster despite the interest from rival clubs.

The respected journalist adds that a full agreement has been made between the two clubs in a deal worth between £15-20 million. Now, discussions are ongoing on personal terms.
