Chelsea Rate Zakharyan as One of the Major Talents for the Future
Ever since he took over the club, Todd Boehly has been persistent in signing quality young talents for the Premier League side. He seems intent on developing a really strong future core for his club to ensure they remain among Europe’s top clubs over the next decade.
Romano adds that despite seeing their offers rejected in the summer, Chelsea are still very eager to sign the 19-year-old midfielder. They rate him as one of the star talents for the present and the future, believing he can be a major player for them over the coming years.

The Blues have been strengthening their future core all through this year. They signed talented midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa earlier this summer as well as promising Italian midfielder Cesare Casadei from Inter Milan. Not just that, but Boehly also gave major long-term contract extensions to key first-team players Reece James and Armando Broja.
Zakharyan’s Comments on Possible Chelsea Move
The Russian teenager is very keen on making a move to the Premier League giants and taking a major leap forward in his career. In a recent interview, he said: “My agents and my club have told me that a request has come from Chelsea. I have directly said my position is that I want to join Chelsea.
“I know that there is a good competition in my position with Mount, Havertz and Gallagher, so I don’t mind going on loan to adapt to the European league. I was stressed because I wanted this transfer.”
