How France Have Lined-Up Recently
Didier Deschamps is expected to use the 4-2-3-1 formation again, as he did in the opening match. Firstly, Captain Hugo Lloris is expected to start between the sticks. AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez is set to replace his brother Lucas at left-back. The centre-back partnership of Ibrahima Konate and Dayot Upamecano is set to start again, after their good showing in the first match.
Furthermore, the midfield and forward lines are expected to be the same. Aurelien Tchouameni played a key role in the heart of the midfield. The young Real Madrid star has done well following the injury to N’golo Kante, who was ruled out of the World Cup.

Olivier Giroud is expected to lead the line once again for Les Bleus alongside Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele. The former Arsenal striker would be hoping to get another goal which would lift him over Gunners legend Thierry Henry, as the all-time leading goalscorer for the French National Team.
France Injuries to Consider
Mainstay left-back Lucas Hernandez was subbed off in the 13th minute of the opener against Australia. Consequently, he is now ruled out of the tournament after rupturing the ACL in his right knee. Didier Deschamps will be hoping that the injury bug stays away from his squad from now till the end of the tournament.
France Recent Form and Tactics
Les Bleus will be high on confidence after the opening match, but they will be wary of the Danes. Denmark won the recent UEFA Nations League encounter between the sides in September, 2-0. However, Deschamps and his men will be quietly confident of their chances this time around.
France have generally used their full-backs, Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard, to provide the width and stretch the field of play. Antoine Griezmann has played a fantastic part as a No.10 in recent times for the Frenchmen. Furthermore, Adrien Rabiot’s newfound eye for goal has seen him take up advanced positions in the box similar to the role played by Jude Bellingham for England. Lastly, Deschamps has also got the talent in his squad to play a back-three system with William Saliba if needed.
