Talented Prospect
The former Arsenal player has received rave reviews in the past. The Sun have previously dubbed him a “wonderkid” and compared him to multi-time Premier League winner Raheem Sterling. His dribbling skills and ability to contribute both goals and assists have shown exactly why the Blues plucked him away from the Gunners.
Playing Time Is Scarce
Getting minutes for a side that has two Champions League titles to its name will always be difficult. This aim was made even more difficult by the club’s extravagant January spending which has seen them add attacking power in Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke. The youngster likely saw his opportunity to make an impression go right out the window with the heightened competition.

While taking a step down to the Championship was likely not on the cards, it does provide Hutchinson with a chance to gain valuable experience. His new side isn’t embroiled in a relegation battle and promotion is but a faint hope right now, meaning he should have a low-stakes environment to work on his game.
With so many big-money signings it is a positive for Chelsea fans to see the club is still keeping an eye on the stars of the future.
