Brighton & Hove Albion manager Roberto de Zerbi has confirmed that Alexis Mac Allister could be on the verge of leaving in the summer. Liverpool are reported to be interested in signing the Argentine midfielder after the season is over.

What Did de Zerbi Say About Mac Allister?
It has been reported that the Reds are in an advanced position to sign Mac Allister in the summer and have already proposed their financial offers and future plans for him at the club. Liverpool are reportedly looking to strengthen their midfield in the summer after having a topsy-turvy season.

After Brighton’s impressive 3-0 win over Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, De Zerbi gave an update on the future of his star players at the club and said: “For sure we will lose some players. Maybe Caicedo, maybe Mac Allister. We have to be ready to bring in more good players.”
This more or less confirms that the Seagulls might have already accepted their fate of having to sell Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo in the summer. However, it has also been reported that Brighton could demand more than £70 million for both.
Liverpool’s Plans for Summer Window
