‘Agreement Signed’: Chelsea’s ‘New Didier Drogba’ Leaves on Loan to Bundesliga Club

Chelsea youngster David Datro Fofana has successfully completed his medical tests and finalised a loan move to Union Berlin. According to Fabrizio Romano, the talented forward will spend the upcoming season with the German club as part of his development.

The Blues and the Berlin-based club have reached an agreement for the loan transfer of the Ivorian. The deal has been finalised, with all the necessary documents signed by both parties. Fofana will be wearing the colours of Die Eisernen until June 2024.

However, it is important to note that no buy option has been included in the agreement. This means that the striker will return to Stamford Bridge once the loan spell concludes.
