Following Romelu Lukaku’s departure at the end of last season, Inter are actively searching the market for his replacement. They have brought in French forward Marcus Thuram on a free transfer, but it appears that his addition won’t be enough firepower for the Champions League finalists. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian club are reportedly shopping in London to find their newest goal-scorer and are “confident” about the deal.

If the hammers decide to ship out the attacker, it could potentially benefit everybody. Scamacca will have the chance to return to form in Serie A where he had previously flourished, the UEFA Conference League winners can move on from someone that doesn’t fit in their manager’s system, and the Nerazzurri can utilize his ability to “score in every way“.
£25 Million Bid is Close But Not Quite There
According to Tom Collomosse of the Daily Mail, the bid is short of the £30 million valuation that the London club has put on their player.
