While some of Postecoglou’s targets have been players who will start immediately for the team, the Greek-Australian coach’s efforts to purchase young and future talents have culminated with the signing of Argentine forward Alejo Veliz. A tweet by Romano confirmed the catch for Tottenham, and the player will likely be able to get registered just in time for the Premier League season.

Not All Details Known in Newly Confirmed Signing
Veliz is still a teenager and will continue to develop his skills. That time will be spent at Tottenham, or on loan from them.
Romano’s tweet reports that the Argentine will be signing a deal that will keep him with Spurs for a long while. Medical tests, which, if successfully completed, will be the final step in the transfer saga, are being set up within the next couple of days.
Pricetag Not Extortionate
£13 million will be the minimum fee that is coughed up for Veliz, but add-ons could make him cost more for Tottenham. Another part of the deal that was mentioned in a previous Romano tweet was the possibility for the forward will stay with Rosario Central for six more months on loan.
