Leeds United Set to Sign Glen Kamara from Rangers ‘In Coming Days’
How Does Glen Kamara Play?
Glen Kamara is a typical midfielder, with most of his time with his Glaswegian club being spent in the centre of the pitch. His roles float between that of a box-to-box player and a defensive midfielder, with the Finnish player being perfectly capable of being both a stalwart and a much more mobile option.
His profile is absolutely ideal for Archie Gray’s current role in the side. Gray slips back into a defensive position as Luke Ayling bombs on down the right flank whilst still having license to go forwards. Kamara is the perfect fit for this highly versatile position in the side, especially excelling at the defensive side of the game.

Will Leeds United Struggle to Sign the Midfielder?
According to some reports, Rangers’ manager has said that Kamara will not play at Hampden Park again, with a move looking almost inevitable. The Champions League side are reportedly hoping for a transfer fee of £5.5 million, which is an incredibly small cost compared to the incoming fee for Tyler Adams received from Bournemouth.
That leaves the only stumbling block being personal terms, which are unlikely to be a major issue. With the likes of Rodrigo, Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson off the books, there is likely to be plenty of flexibility in the wage budget for a player of Kamara’s quality.
