Watch: All About the Glen Kamara Deal
Who is Glen Kamara?
The Whites’ current target would play a key role in the squad because of his specific set of skills. An incredibly active footballer in the midfield, Kamara’s main strengths are in winning the ball and progressing it quickly up the field, perfect for Daniel Farke’s system. Despite his clear skill, he has become a less prominent part of the Rangers squad over the last twelve months and could continue his career elsewhere whilst securing far more minutes.
Why Leeds United are Seeking Glen Kamara
One of the main areas with a serious lack of depth at Thorp Arch is central midfield. Archie Gray, although an incredibly talented young footballer, has played every single match this season, with Ethan Ampadu not far behind. Adding a central midfielder will not only bring a new range of qualities to the side but has the potential to significantly decrease the risk of serious injuries throughout a long and arduous Championship season.

What Deadline Day Looks Like at Leeds United
There are a few different ways that the transfer deadline could go at Leeds, with a lot of deals depending on outgoings. The loss of a forward such as Luis Sinisterra, for example, could see immediate and significant action to improve the squad. If outgoings remain limited, however, expect the club to complete a central midfielder (such as Kamara) and potentially make a move for the side’s weakest position, left-back.
