The Hammers played out a draw against Championship side Ipswich in a friendly according to reports. The match finished 1-1 with Aaron Cresswell giving the Londoners the lead before the lower league side equalised late on.

Amidst all this there was a surprise 75-minute appearance of a player which hints towards a possible transfer in the coming days.

The England international has been a free agent since he was released by Nottingham Forest at the end of last season. According to reports, the 30-year-old has been training with the Premier League club since early August.
