Chelsea Predicted Lineup vs Burnley in Premier League Clash
Watch: Is the Chelsea project broken?
How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently
Despite some injures, returns, and suspensions the first eleven has been relatively settled. Robert Sanchez has started in goal, in front of him has been Levi Colwill on the left, Axel Disasi and Thiago Silva in the centre, while Marc Cucurella has been on the right in the absence of Malo Gusto and Reece James.

The midfield double pivot has been Moises Caicedo next to either Conor Gallagher or Enzo Fernandez with Mykhailo Mudryk staking his claim out left with either Raheem Sterling or Cole Palmer starting on the right. The CAM spot has been traded by Gallagher and Fernandez with one pushing forward and the other sitting back depending on the week.
Nicolas Jackson has been the striker for most of the season, although Armando Broja started last time out due to Jackson’s suspension.
Chelsea Recent Form and Tactics
Mauricio Pochettino has stuck by his 4-2-3-1 setup all season despite getting off to a bad start. Things have swung positively for the Blues recently with them winning their last two matches, keeping clean sheets in both.

What’s interesting about this tactic is it is quite fluid, at times Colwill tucks in to form more of a traditional back three, meaning the positions of the players can change from one attack to the other.
Chelsea Injuries to Consider
The latest update from the team has seven players unavailable due to injury. These are Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah who are “in partial team training”, presumably they are near returns.
Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Christopher Nkunku, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia, and Marcus Bettinelli are all sidelined. Malo Gusto is also unavailable due to his suspension for a straight red card.
