However, whatever anxiety existed was quickly quelled by Romero in a post-match interview with Argentine publication La Voz, where he stated: “We have an important match against Fulham on Monday for Tottenham Hotspur, that is why I decided to come off at half time.” This quote will be music to the ears of Spurs fans, that the Argentine, previously described as “top class” will seemingly be fit for their game against Fulham.

Whilst on the other side of the world, South Korean captain Son Heung-min played the entire 90 minutes in a friendly against Vietnam. Son looked in discomfort – when leaving the pitch at halftime and again after scoring a wonderful goal. Injury Update on Pape Matar Sarr and James Maddison

Gone are the days when Tottenham fans would watch an England game with one eye closed, hoping Harry Kane didn’t pick up an injury. However, there are still concerns whenever the Three Lions play, as James Maddison is frequently in the national team. Thankfully, he seems good to go for his club, as is Pape Sarr, who has reportedly resumed training despite some early injury concerns.
