How Leicester City Have Lined-up Recently
Manager Enzo Maresca has changed his team selection over the past few weeks, and this was once again the case during their last league game against Coventry City. The formation is, however, set in stone, with players and fans now well-versed in the set-up.

The right-back switching into a midfield role has allowed more of an offensive threat when the team are in possession. When defending, the right back moves back into this natural position. Portuguese Ricardo Pereira has adapted to this role well and displayed his importance within the team. Overall, the team’s recent lineup reflects a well-balanced and cohesive unit capable of adapting to various challenges on the pitch.
Chelsea have also confirmed they have recalled Cesare Casadei from his loan at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester City Recent Form and Tactics
The East Midlands club sit at the top of the table with 65 points with a seven-point gap between themselves and second-place Ipswich Town. There remains a significant 10-point gap to third place Southampton. They have picked up 10 points from their last five games, with only one loss in twelve games. This loss, however, was in their league meeting against local rivals Coventry City, and the Foxes will be keen to bounce back.

Opponents Ipswich Town sit in the second automatic promotion place in the Championship. Not in the best form, they have secured six points in their last five league games, although they come into the game with back-to-back victories in the league and FA Cup.
Leicester City Injuries to Consider
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is a doubt for this game, having picked up a knock in the last league defeat against Coventry. Wilfred Ndidi remains sidelined with a groin injury. There are no other new injury concerns.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka remain on AFCON international duty with Nigeria and Zambia. Harry Souttar is also away with Australia in the Asia Cup.
The positive news is the potential return of striker Jamie Vardy. Having last played in late November, he has joined full training with the squad and will be in contention for this top-of-the-table clash.
