They need to overturn a 0-1 deficit from the 1st leg if they want to get a place in the final for just the second time ever. In the first leg against Dortmund, PSG had better ball possession and more goal attempts. However, they were not able to realize their chances and lost 0-1 in the end. In the second half, Hakimi and Mbappé both hit the woodwork. PSG were mainly attacking through Ousmane Dembélé and Kylian Mbappé.
Borussia Dortmund have won three of their last five games. They are currently sitting in 5th spot in the Bundesliga with 60 points. With just 2 fixtures left, BVB have a chance to get to 5th spot. They are just 3 points behind Leipzig, but it is not of huge importance to them as they have already secured a Champions League spot for next season. In their last Bundesliga game, BVB cruised to a comfortable 5-1 victory against Augsburg. Captain Marco Reus announced that he would depart with Borussia Dortmund. That being said, their main players should be well rested for the 2nd leg. Borussia Dortmund are aiming to get into their first UCL final since 2013. Niclas Fullkrug was their hero in the first game, scoring the game winner in the 36th minute. Beside him, Jadon Sancho also had a great performance.
