They lost against Stuttgart 3-1. It was the first win at home for Stuttgart against Bayern since 2007. With that victory, they are now just 2 points behind Bayern Munich. The only way Bayern can save this season is by winning the UEFA Champions League this season. Otherwise, this will be their first trophyless season since 2011/12. Thomas Tuchel mentioned in the press conference after they drew 2-2 against Real Madrid in Munich that they would travel to Madrid with confidence.
