Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Southampton in Premier League
How Arsenal Have Lined up Recently
Mikel Arteta has named an unchanged line-up for both of Arsenal’s last two games, home wins over Leicester and Paris Saint-Germain, and would probably like to do the same again, barring any injuries.

This features Jurriën Timber at right-back and Riccardo Calafiori on the opposite side, while in attack the free-scoring Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard are dovetailing nicely as a centre-forward partnership.

Arsenal Recent Form and Tactics
Arsenal remain unbeaten this season, currently just one point below Premier League leaders Liverpool, following last weekend’s dramatic 4-2 victory over Leicester, in which they snatched victory by scoring not once but twice in injury time.
Then, on Wednesday night, the Gunners collected their first win of this new Champions League campaign by defeating Paris Saint-Germain 2-0, with Havertz heading home the opener, before a wide Bukayo Saka free-kick somehow nestled in the far corner untouched.

The opener saw Havertz become only the fourth player in Arsenal history to net in each of the club’s first five home matches to start a campaign, after Jimmy Brain (1927), Cliff Bastin (1934) and Doug Lishman (1954).
Thus, in summary, Arteta’s team are in a good place right now, and should easily swat the struggling Southampton aside.

Arsenal Injuries to Consider
Martin Ødegaard, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are all sidelined long-term, while Benjamin White is unlikely to feature, having not been in the matchday squad for any of the last three games.
This though could lead to a dilemma at right-back, because Timber was hooked at half time on Wednesday, a decision that Arteta himself described as precautionary. If neither Timber nor White are available, there’s no obvious right-back.

In better news, Mikel Merino came off the bench for his eagerly-anticipated debut against PSG, so he’ll be hoping for more minutes here.
